Polemic: Industrial Tourism and the National Parks

In this hilariously modest proposal, Abbey defines his character before launching into an argument against the invasion of the automobile in our most sacred places: our National Parks. While not a few of his ideas are actually under consideration, even implementation, now that the parks have achieved the horrific levels of destruction Abbey predicts, he is really speaking to our very nature as human beings living in a democratic society. Or is it anarchy?
